Every summer, Lily visited her grandma in the countryside.

每年夏天，莉莉都會去鄉下看奶奶。

Her favorite part was cooking together.

她最喜歡的，就是和奶奶一起做菜。

"Today I'll teach you my soup," Grandma said with a smile.

「今天我來教你我的湯，」奶奶笑著說。

She never used a recipe book.

她從來不看食譜。

"The secret is in your hands and your heart," she said.

「祕訣在你的雙手和你的心裡，」她說。

Lily cut the vegetables slowly and carefully.

莉莉慢慢地、仔細地切著蔬菜。

The kitchen filled with a warm, sweet smell.

廚房裡瀰漫著溫暖香甜的味道。

They talked and laughed while the soup cooked.

湯在煮的時候，她們一邊聊天一邊笑。

"Cooking is a way to show love," Grandma said.

「煮飯是一種表達愛的方式，」奶奶說。

That winter, Grandma passed away.

那年冬天，奶奶過世了。

Lily felt very sad and missed her a lot.

莉莉非常難過，很想念她。

One cold evening, she decided to make the soup herself.

一個寒冷的夜晚，她決定自己煮那道湯。

The smell filled the kitchen again, just like before.

那股香味又一次瀰漫了廚房，和從前一樣。

For a moment, it felt like Grandma was still there.

有那麼一瞬間，彷彿奶奶還在身邊。

Now, every bowl of soup carries a little of her love.
