The next morning, we had breakfast at the hotel from seven to ten, just like the receptionist told us.

Then my girlfriend and I planned our day.

"How should we get downtown?" my girlfriend asked.

"Let's take the subway. It's faster than a taxi," I said.

At the subway station, I looked at the map but felt confused.

"Excuse me, which line goes downtown?" I asked a station staff member.

"Take the red line and get off at the third stop," she said.

"Thank you so much," I said.

"I want to visit the old town and the art museum today."

"Sounds good. Let's ask someone for directions when we get off," I said.

After we got off, we saw a friendly-looking man.

"Excuse me, how do we get to the art museum?" I asked.

"Go straight and turn left at the second traffic light."

"It's next to a big park," he said.

"Thank you very much!" my girlfriend said.

We walked for about fifteen minutes and finally found the museum.

"We made it!" my girlfriend said with a big smile.

"Should we take a taxi back to the hotel later, or take the subway again?" I asked.

"Let's take the subway. I think we understand the city better now," she said.

We spent the whole afternoon walking around, taking photos, and enjoying the city together.

  • 「Excuse me, which line goes to...?」和「How do we get to...?」
  • 「Go straight and turn left/right at...」
